New Intermed Uptrend

Friends,

I take the liberty to start this new thread as a continuation to the wonderful old thread at TJ. Now that we are in the upswing, it is high time that we pay some attention to this method of trading. Many stocks have broken the last major pivot high and are just ripe for entering into trade. I am too raw to really point at the correct stocks but an attempt can be made to identify the stocks and trade this as per classic flow method.

Look forward to some active participation with lots of charts and technical discussions.

Following stocks look promising and are on the verge of a breakout, I think, and would like to be corrected if wrong.
SBI, ITC, L&T, Wipro, NTPC, SRF, HDFC, HDFC bank.

Following have already broken out and are on their way up (we have missed the bus here, I think) — Reliance, ONGC, Cairn.

Will scan some more later and put up here.

Please let me have some feed back. Tomorrow is a holiday :-)

Thankyou Saint Sir,

I am just checking out the stocks which have broken out from the last major pivot high made around Jan 7 and even in some cases in Feb if the PH was very pronounced. Am I on the right track?

Have checked out with the weekly also. All the above stocks in line with the daily and the weekly and poised for a breakout and some have already broken out as indicated above.

Its a bit late too…I personally capitalised on many stocks in the start of this rally…all were broken out many weeks back. All the credits goes here too to our Saint sir for his 'Teach a man to fish' thread.

Now the doubt is…how to handle stocks which are….after this much rally in other stocks and nifty, certain stocks are just now about to break out from the weekly pivot, how we will handle this since they 'went to crack the pivot high with out any correction in its path'. That is, a vertical rally with many bullish bars from the bottom and finally breakout from the pivot high.

I have a doubt here to place the stops @ weekly low 1133-F after that flag breakout, when you have time, open you will look into it and clear my doubt?

Thank you Pattel and TFL. Look forward to many charts here. Guess in order to have a correct perspective minimum of 9 months chart should be seen to have a clear view of the downturn, the lows and the upswing - daily and weekly.

This thread should have hundreds of charts. Will try to put up some today.
